Recently, Maruti Suzuki announced to launch of the ESP (electronic stability program) program in its most selling car. As you all know that the brand recently sold over 16k units of only Swift and the report is not old but from the starting month of January 2023. So, as per this, you can assume the market of this certain car from Maruti. Although many people are in the swim about this feature still there are some people who are not familiar with the word and even searching for its meaning.
Maruti Suzuki Swift To Get A New Update
Well, as the 4th gen swift was recently spied testing on the Indian roads therefore the brand is now making some updates in the existing models so that the latest one would not impact the sales of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Swift. However, the latest gen of the car would come with all trending and mandatory updated features but it is important for the brand to keep the existence of the current gen’s variants, and this is the main reason that now Maruti has planned to add a feature in its manual transmissions that we usually used to see in the top class trims.
So, in accordance with the reports the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift will come with some other trending features about which the brand is yet to open, but before the 4th-gen, Swift comes Maruti Suzuki seems to continue the sales of the 1st to 3rd-gen swifts and continue the sales of the car the brand has stated to introduce the ESP in its annual transmissions too which is used to come in the top variants.
What Is ESP (Electronic Stability Program)?
Now a lot of people are not familiar with the word ESP. So, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is an automotive technology that improves the stability and control of a vehicle by reducing the risk of skidding or loss of traction. ESP uses sensors to detect the direction in which the driver intends to travel and to monitor the vehicle’s motion. If the vehicle begins to deviate from its intended path, ESP applies the brakes to individual wheels and, if necessary, reduces engine power to bring the vehicle back on course. The goal of ESP is to enhance driver control and reduce the risk of accidents.
Why It Is Important?
An Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is mandatory to have in a car because it improves the safety and stability of a vehicle along with reducing the risk of accidents caused by skidding or loss of traction. ESP uses advanced sensors and computer algorithms to monitor the vehicle’s motion and detect any deviation from the driver’s intended path.
If the vehicle begins to skid, ESP intervenes by applying the brakes to individual wheels and reducing engine power to bring the vehicle back on course. By improving stability and control, ESP helps to prevent accidents, especially in challenging driving conditions such as slippery roads or sudden lane changes. Additionally, ESP can also improve handling and overall performance, giving drivers more confidence and control behind the wheel.
