Statiq will supply 18 EV chargering points to Indian Oil across the nation

Are we all about to get charging stations like we have fuel stations? Well, this question will be answered soon because India’s largest network of EV chargers recently got the contract to supply EV charging points to Indian oil. Keeping an eye on the current phase of the automobile industry where Electric vehicles’ demand and sale is almost touched the hype and created a buzz in the international market, fuel stations are now planning to open charging stations too. So, as per the latest reports, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) is all set to install around 18 new electric vehicle chargers at some of the prime locations nationwide. The IOCL will buy these chargers from Statiq.

According to the reports, all of the chargers will be a mixed blend of 30kW and 60kW fast chargers that make it easier to use for any brand of four-wheeler. Both of the companies are now focused to provide a facility to all EV owners so that they can drive without being feared for their cars’ batteries. An online report has stated that the state-owned oil and gas company is aimed to achieve a net zero emission target by 2046 and has set aside ₹2 trillion to that end which makes the plan amazing. IOCL is planning to rev the go-green campaign by working on a number of emission mitigation channels such as biofuels, green hydrogen, renewables, etc.

Indian Oil Is Now Installing EV Charging Points

The Statiq chargers will be purchased through a delicate, which is crucial for the organization’s carbon lack of bias plans and will propose as influence areas of strength for the fuel station organization. This framework sees over 3.1 crore footfalls consistently subsequently satisfying over around 50% of the fuel necessity of India. “With Statiq having won this delicate, we are happy to find a teammate who will furnish us with quality Made-in-India EV chargers,” said Executive and Overseeing Chief, IOCL, Shrikant Madhav Vaidya.

According to online sources, a total of 18 charging stations that Indian Oil going to set up, will work with the charging of 4-wheeler electric vehicles and uphold 30 kW and 60 kW quick charging.
