Well, so the latest thing that Bajaj made headlines is, the bike gets ABS and this is not the latest thing to see in this light-engine bike.
For those who wanted to own a light-engine bike and waiting for more features to be installed in the segment, the wait is over for you all. Because Bajaj motors have introduced an Anti-Braking system in one of the most loved and affordable bikes that come under a pocket-friendly budget along with a quite pretty engine 110CC. While other 2wd companies are introducing their new engines and electric vehicles as well, the Bajaj came up with something new, that is soon going to create tough competition. As you all know that ABS is mostly seen in bikes with 200+ CC engines that are also cost a bit more expensive. But now that the brand has configurated the ABS, so it can be assumed that rival brands will introduce the same, and that too soon.

- Max Power – 8.6 PS
- Max Torque – 9.81 Nm

Talking about the features of the bike then, buyers will get a bunch of features that will not enhance their experience but also it will not let them feel like they are riding a light-engined bike. Talking about the features of the new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS, so the bike gets a 115.45 cc air-cooled engine that delivers 8.6 PS maximum power @ 7000 rpm and 9.81 Nm peak torque @ 5000 rpm. The bike gets a front disc brake and drums rear brake.
The President, of Bajaj Motorcycles, Sarang Kanade said “In India, if we talk about the 2-wheeler accidents ratio then you will get to see that around 45% of people lose their lives every year, and most of the time it happens because of the sudden breaking. Our understanding of the Indian consumer suggests that commuter riders face panic braking scenarios often. With the new Platina 110 ABS, we want to deliver riders complete command over unforeseen braking scenarios”.
Now, coming to the most asked thing on the internet for the bike is its price. Keeping an eye on the current phase where the prices are a bit high than before, so it can be assumed that the bike will cost you around between 70,000 to 1 Lakh. As it gets ABS, we can assume the price is above lakh. According to the reports, the latest Bajaj Platina 110 CC gets a single-ABS unit and the bike is available in 4 different color options as- Cocktail Wine Red, Ebony Black, Gloss Pewter Grey, and Saffire Blue. So, it is also a new thing that is going to be an interesting thing to see in the latest Platina.
Now, the competition is going to be tougher for the other brands such as Hero, Mahindra, TVS, and others who also deal in light engines, because in India the selling bike is Hero Splendor and as Bajaj has introduced ABS in its 2wd therefore perhaps Hero can also configure the ABS in its bikes.
