Mahindra Thar 5 door to launched soon in India

So far the brand has launched the 4×4 and Rwd Thar and both trims are introduced at different prices.

However, as the segment is known for off-roading therefore the first trim was 4×4 and the latter is RWD and these both are available in only 3 doors, but now when the 5 door has been introduced therefore, people are getting keen to know more about the segment. Previously, we have seen Mahindra’s Thar in both 4×4 and 2wd which was an option in the 3 doors Thar. But recently when the brand announced to launch of the new Thar 2023 and that too with five doors, people are searching for so many things such as its price, powertrain, specs, features, launch date, and so on.

Well, it is not hidden from anyone that Mahindra is working to launch another Thar, and that too with 5-door, as so many times the test mules were spotted on the roads. So as the brand is now looking to offer multiple powertrain configurations in the new Thar 5-door right from the launch. According to the reports, it came to know that the car will get over the 2.2-liter diesel and 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engines from the Thar 3-door, both of which will be offered with manual and automatic gearboxes.

People are searching for its price which is still under the veil and therefore they are assuming the price of the car. According to some online reports, some are expecting the price to go over 25 Lakh and it is because the Mahindra Thar 4×4 ranges from Rs 11 Lakh to 20 Lakhs which is for 3 doors.

However, if we talk about the features of the car then saying this won’t be bad that there won’t be many changes seen in the terms of features and powertrain and it is only because the brand is expanding the size of the car therefore, Mahindra has to make some mandatory changes such as AV vents to make the inside environment cooler and also the engine power, mainly. As of now, Mahindra has only launched the 3-door Thar but it is being talked about that the brand is launching the 5-door segment just to give neck-to-neck competition to Maruti’s newly launched Jimny which also comes in 5 door segment.
