Honda to launch 2023 Honda City facelift in India on March 2

Here is the good news for all who were keenly waiting for the new version of Honda City. Recently news broke on the internet that confirmed Honda launching its all-new Honda City facelift. According to the reports, the brand will launch the car in the first week of March 2023. As soon as the news started surfacing on the web it created a buzz on the internet and now people are getting keen to know about more and more such as specs, features, and price of the car. On March 2, Honda Cars India will launch the 2023 Honda City makeover in the nation. The revised mid-size car will compete against the 2023 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Hyundai Verna. There will be two engine choices for the 2023 City. A 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and CVT automatic transmission will be available. A 1.5-liter Atkinson Cycle DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine with a powerful hybrid system and an e-CVT will also be available. The 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine that Honda formerly provided with the vehicle will be discontinued. To comply with the impending real driving emission (RDE) requirements, the firm will not upgrade this engine.

Honda City Facelift 2023

As you all know that earlier the car had 3 variants and as of now the brand has added a new variant to its lineup. SV. A is the new variant that has been added to the lineup. Also, a new V variant will be added to the City hybrid that used to come only in a single fully-loaded ZX variant. And as of now, keeping all the products in the mind the all-new Honda City will have a total of 4 new variants which are SV, V, VX, and ZX. While the Hybrid model will have 2 more trims which are V and ZX.

If we talk about the specs of the car then the front and rear bumpers have been slightly modified. The chrome slat has been made more streamlined, and the front grille has been rebuilt. The rear reflectors are now horizontally positioned after being shifted somewhat downward. However, there would be some things that have not been touched such as the LED headlamp unit with nine LED inline shells and integrated LED DRLs, the Z-shaped 3D wrap-around LED taillamp unit and the 16-inch alloy wheels.

Price

Now, coming to the price of the new Honda City Facelift 2023, so as you all have read above that the new variant has not gone through many updates. But looking at the all surfacing reports online, it came to know that the car includes new ambient lighting, fresh upholstery, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. And despite being almost the same the car probably can be priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
