Hero Honda’s Hunk which used to be on the list of the most affordable and amazing in-looks bikes is returning to the market once again under the Facelift moniker. Now, as soon as the news rolled out on the internet people especially Hunk lovers went crazy and started searching for the bike. Hero recently announced that they are soon launching the new Hero Hunk facelift in the Indian market with some modifications in design and some upgrades as well, If you have ridden the bike previously then you must have an idea about the bike, but due to some reasons, the company disappeared the bike in 2017 along with Karizma ZMR.

So, according to the reports, the muscular 150cc engine bike that is now returning to the market with a new name. However, the Hero has not confirmed the news so far but some online sources are claiming that the brand is soon rolling out its previously launched bike as Hunk Facelift. Despite the fact that it is discontinued in the Indian market, the bike is still being manufactured overseas. An online report said, for around 2,749 units shipped in August 2022, Hero Hunk is the highest-exported 2-wheeler from India’s largest 2W manufacturer in that month.

Well, as the brand has not officially announced anything about the bike, therefore we also don’t have much information but looking at the speculations it can be assumed that the bike this time may pair with a 160CC engine. It will have a re-designed body shape and lights. The hero may give a mono-shock rear and telescopic front suspension, which are some of the impressive features, also hero might throw in XTEC-connected features as well. Apart from assuming the features, it also can be expected that if Hero is really thinking to launch the Hunk Facelift in India then it may launch somewhere ahead of mid of 2023.

However, Hero currently has some more models and segments in the pipeline and soon it will launch Hero Xtreme 200R. If we talk about the hunk’s specifications that we have seen in the previous model (discontinued in 2015), the bike used to give an impressive mileage of 65.1 Kmpl, and the engine was powered by 150CC. The engine used to deliver a max power of 15.6 bhp @8500 rpm, and a max torque of 13.5 NM @7000 rpm. Apart from this, it had a front disc and a 12.4-liter fuel tank that was used to help the bike give pleasing mileage.
