2023 Tata Sierra showcased at Auto Expo 2023, Tata To launch its 90s OG again, Since Asia’s Biggest & The world’s 2nd Biggest Automotive Show called Auto Expo began in the nation, the people of India have got to know about so many concepts that are soon to be launched in the Indian market. Well, as you all know that car manufacturers have showcased some of the mind-blowing segments, the newly designed cars are now creating a buzz over social media, and amid so many segments Tata Motors has showcased one of their most loved SUVs from the 90s, we are talking about Tata Sierra which used to consider as OG of its time. The company is once again all set to launch it in a new avatar along with some jaw-dropping features.

Saying this won’t be bad that Sierra was India’s first SUV, which used to come with a 3-door design and was based on a ladder frame chassis, and was offered with 4X4 too. Well, looking back at the time when the car used to rule the roads, perhaps the new Sierra can create tough competition because if the segment lives up to the expectations, no doubt it will grip the market like before. However, Tata can face some troubles with the pricing because the price at which the brand introduced its 90s OG is something that current-era’s Indian’s won’t go for.

So, as we all know that the car is often called a lifestyle car due to its behavior. However, when the segment was launched in the 90s there was no such demand for this type of segment and therefore it only used to appear very less on Indian roads. But now with the rising demand for such vehicles, it seems like the car must win hearts this time. The brand is already keen to launch the segment and the big thing or better say change that you will get to see is, the engine is now shifting from diesel to petrol and perhaps in an EV segment.

Despite being showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, the car may undergo some changes where main changes would be seats, steering wheel, and perhaps the display which is currently stuck to the dashboard. Currently, it gets a futuristic steering wheel with toggles and buttons. Although, AC vents are not clearly visible in the pictures because they may have some configurations. The amazing thing about the 2023 Tata Sierra is, this time brand is launching it in 5 doors while previously it had only 3 doors. And with the introduction of the 5-door segment, the car will have a bigger and better boot space.

2023 Tata Sierra Launch Date

However, the brand has not opened up about the launch date of the car but there is a high possibility that it can be launched by the end of 2025. According to the reports, Tata will give it a petrol engine and also launch it as an EV too.
