So, the big news of the month is, Maruti Suzuki India Limited recently glimpsed a 14 percent hike in its total sales as the brand sold around 159,044 units in November 2022 and it is quite impressive as compared to last year’s same month sales where the company sold 139,184 units. Well, total sales stand for the whole number of units from every category that includes domestic sales of 135,055 units, sales to other OEMs of 4,251 units, and exports of 19,738 units. Talking about the complete sales report of the brand so, the list includes PV+LCV+OEM where an increase of 18 percent to 139,306 in November 2022 units from 117,791 in November 2021 was recorded.

However, the spokesperson for Maruti even stated that during the month the company saw a shortage of some electronic components that brought a minor impact on the production of vehicles due to which the numbers have been affected, otherwise there would be some more rise in the report. Later, they controlled the situation and somehow managed to keep the numbers growing.
Coming to the numbers of the cars (small) so, last year in November Alto & S-Presso’s 17k+ units were sold while in this month around 18,251 units have been sold in the month of November. On the other side, where in November of last year, Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, and WagonR’s 57,019 units got sold, the brand managed to sell more than 72k units of the same cars in the same month.
Talking about its Utility segment so in this segment the brand also recorded a hike where Brezza, Ertiga, S-Cross, XL6, and Grand Vitara came up by 7,989 units from 32,563 units last month (2021). The interesting thing about the company is, now it has two manufacturing plants in Gurugram and Manesar in Haryana, with a production capacity of 15 lakh units per annum which makes it more amazing and unbeatable.
