Well, Maruti Suzuki India has recently come up with the S- Presso CNG, and that too at a very reasonable price of Rs 5.90 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) in the country. According to the reports, the model is available in two different variants that are named LXI and VXI. Now, the surprising thing is, this is going to be the 10th factory-fitted S-CNG technology from Maruti Suzuki. The CNG model gets the power from the next-gen K-series. Well, as the company is selling a lot of units of their cars, the brand is on the top 1 rank to sell more units ever in the market.
S- Presso CNG Model Features
Now, what is the next-gen- K-series is, so it has a 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine that gives an amazing power of 56 bhp at 5,300 rpm and peak torque of 82.1 Nm at 3,400 rpm, and that too in the CNG mode. This is the center of attraction because getting this much power and that too in a CNG model is something that will attract people towards it. Talking about the torque and power so it is nearly somewhere around 9 bhp and 7 Nm. Certainly, it will not give that much good and power performance as compared to other petrol hatchbacks at this price range but still, the power which this car is having, you won’t see anywhere else. Coming to its mileage rate so it will give you a superb amazing average of 32.73 km per kg.
The Senior Executive Officer, of Marketing & Sales for Maruti Suzuki India Limited Mr.Shashank Srivastava, in a statement said The S-CNG version will build on the success of the popular S-Presso, of which we have sold over 2.26 lakh units.” Although not many people were aware of the sales ratio after his statement, it created a buzz. It is being said that the CNG version will have the same features as compared to the petrol variants. While other companies are bringing their E-vehicles into the market, let’s see if Maruti’s this step going to work or not.
