The new Jeep Compass Fifth Anniversary Edition in our Market
The Jeep Compass has completed five years in our market, and the brand will be celebrating the occasion with a new Jeep Compass Fifth Anniversary Edition in our market. The Jeep Compass was the first mass-market offering from the American carmaker in India, and it first hit the road in August 2017. Since then, Compass has been the bread and butter model for Jeep India, Dominating sales for the brand in the market. The company also introduced some limited editions of the Jeep Compass in India to keep the model fresh before giving it a proper mid-life update last year.
Earlier this year, Jeep also introduced the Night Eagle Edition of the Compass facelift in India, which was all black themed trim of the current Compass on sale in India and got quite a fair bit of gloss black treatment on the inside and outside. To begin with, it has glossy black grille rings, black roof rails, 18-inch black alloy wheels, gloss black wing mirrors, and fog lamp bezels, among others.
The new Jeep Compass Fifth Anniversary Edition is also expected to remain unchanged. It will be offered with the tried and tested diesel and petrol engine options. The petrol is the 1.4L multi-air turbo petrol unit with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The diesel is the 2.0L, four-cylinder multijet turbo unit offered with a six-speed manual transmission or nine-speed transmission automatic gearbox.
