Is Hyundai Bringing Creta With CNG? Are we about to see a new Hyundai Creta and that too with factory fitted CNG kit? Well, recently news was seen online claiming that Hyundai Creta CNG spied near Pune when it was going for testing. So, saying this won’t be bad that the CNG fuel option is now can be seen in almost every car no matter if it is a hatchback or a compact SUV but you will get to see this one choice in every segment. However, it has given the ease to those who want to own a car but alongside save some money on fuel.
According to the reports, Toyota’s Hyryder was the first compact SUV to come with CNG, while Maruti has also launched Brezza with CNG. Now, it is being talked about that Hyundai is also coming in the segment with its Creta car. However, it is yet to know if something really likes this is coming from the brand because Hyundai has not revealed anything about this. The news was rolled out on the internet after an online source claimed, observing CNG Creta on Pune’s roads. While the brand has tested its other CNG trims before, it is not the first time when we are writing about a new segment from Hyundai.
Creta CNG Seen On Pune Road
As the brand has introduced the company-fitted CNG trim in its premium cars such as Grand i10 NIOS and Aura. It is likely to say that brand may launch the same feature in its compact SUV Creta. Well, it is also a deal to think that Hyundai may have gone for the hybrid or something electric which is trending and gripping the Indian market but they chose to go for the Compressed Natural Gas fuel option. Now, it is yet to know what they are planning to bring with their models because once the CNG is installed it will bring so many changes that will put a major impact on the specs of this car such as its ground clearance, mileage, pickup, and so on.
Now, when the car is getting much hype, people are talking that it will be based on Kia Carnes (CNG). As it has a 1.4L turbo-petrol engine, so it is assumed that the Creta will have the same specs in the terms of engine. Such as it will be powered by a 1.4L turbo-petrol engine, that will deliver 138 bhp at 6000 RPM and a peak torque of 242 Nm at 1500-3200 RPM. Power and torque output will decrease considerably with CNG fuel.
