Hyundai will launch the new Venue N Line in India on 6 September 2022. The Venue will be Hyundai’s second N Line model following the launch of the i20 N Line in September the previous year. Hyundai says it will launch the new Venue N Line nearly in the Metaverse.

Commenting on the announcement, the Sales, Marketing, and Service Director, Tarun Garg, Hyundai Motor India, said,

“As we move closer towards the introduction of our next blockbuster product offering; Hyundai Venue N Line, we are pleased to announce this one-of-a-kind experience on the Metaverse. We are confident that this integration and the physical universe will establish a strong and long-lasting relationship with today’s tech-empowered generation. We are very excited for the adventurous events that will unfold during our Metaverse launch of the Hyundai Venue N Line.”

Moving forward to the subcompact SUV, expect Hyundai to give it changes related to what we saw on the i20 N Line. Aesthetically, expect the Venue N Line to get a sportier body kit and a more performance-focused image. A teaser video released by Hyundai exposed a revised parametric jewel grille with lesser use of chrome and a mesh-like patterning. Also confirmed in the teaser are new design alloy wheels set to be exclusive to the N Line, while at the back, the N Line also gets a new dual-tip exhaust.

Talking about the cabin, the teaser suggests that the Venue N Line get an all-black cabin to the standard subcompact SUV’s dual-tone finish. The cabin will also characterise the use of red highlights to give it a sportier appeal, while the steering wheel appears to be the same 3-spoke unit as in the i20 N Line.

And at last, talking about the engine, the Venue N Line is expected to carry over 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit from the regular Venue with no tweaks to the power output. The turbo-petrol develops 118bhp and 172Nm in the standard Venue. The unit is expected to be paired with either a six-speed iMT or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearboxes. Expect Hyundai has also tweaked the steering and suspension set-up from the standard Venue to offer a more involving drive. The brakes, too, are expected to be upgraded to discs at all four corners as compared to the standard Venue front discs and back drums.
