Energica presents their New Electric Adventure Bike!

Energica, one of the most famous electric bike companies from Italy has pulled the wraps off its first adventure bike: the EXPERIA. This new motorcycle is being positioned as an adventure- touring electric motorcycle.

BATTERY:

Its single charge riding range is one of the main highlights of the Experia. The outline is being claimed at a 420kms which is quite good. The company has been able to deliver this range by turning down its electric motor for performance. The power figure for this electric ADV stands at 101bhp and torque at 115Nm which is relatively lesser than its street fighter and roadster cousins.

According to Energica, the battery capacity is rated at 22.5 kWh and the changing time is 40 minutes for an 80% charge. The charging time will get reduced if it will be charged via a 24kW DC fast charger. There are some other options as well, which will increase the whole time.

FEATURES:

In terms of features, the Experia is equipped with the four riding modes, rain, eco, sport and urban. There is a six-level traction control system available along with TFT display and cruise control. There are heated grips as standard, but they will be available as on option when the huge market model goes on sale price. The reformed braking comes as standard. There are four other modes:

  1. High
  2. Medium
  3. Low
  4. Off

Energica motorcycles have always been on the luxurious side. So it was obvious to see this ADV with a heavy price tag of Rs 20 Lakhs. This EV would not come to India due to its price tag and also due to its product positioning.
